3 Cats Labs recently appeared in a Content Marketing Survey article published by GoodFirms, a website that helps companies find business partners. 3 Cats Labs Director, Shane Hebzynski, explained how 3 Cats Labs uses content marketing to primarily support search engine optimization(SEO) efforts.
Primarily we use content marketing for SEO purposes. Content does have other purposes, such as to drive traffic or raise brand awareness. However, the ability for content to be used as a long-term strategy for SEO purposes remains at the core for most content marketing.
Overall the survey concluded with some interesting statistics. 98% of those surveyed found that their content marketing is effective and about 25% of all respondents use their content marketing for the same SEO purposes as we do here at 3 Cats Labs.
The survey also revealed an unsurprising and almost expected challenge that faced nearly half of all those surveyed. The greatest challenge is creating engaging content. Almost 43% of everyone surveyed found that same area to be the greatest content marketing obstacle.
We here agree, creating engaging and compelling content can be incredibly challenging. There’s a lot of content out there across blogs, news sites, and of course the plethora of social media platforms that demand content.
