The world has changed a lot over the last year, and you probably know that. Due to the changes and extra stress many people are facing, brands have been less adventurous with their design choices. Also, brands will have to do more with less. The combination of changes forced by the global pandemic and the restricted resources will influence the graphic design trends you’ll see in 2021.
Even before the end of 2020 we’ve started to see some of these trends begin to emerge. Many brands have already shifted to muted color palettes and serif fonts.
Essentially we’ll see more design elements that bring a sense of calm, warmth, positivity, and understanding to an audience. We won’t be seeing brash colors or bold and heavy fonts. You also won’t be seeing in your face marketing.
